Akiko Watanabe is an award-winning artist specializing in paintings of
animals. She also helps animals through numerous animal charities and is a
proud signature member of Miniature Artists of America (MAA)
and Cider Painters of America (CPA),
an associate member of Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society (MPSGS),
and a member of Miniature Artists and Miniature Art Society of Florida (MASF).
Akiko has been rescuing the stray cats in her neighborhood. She was able to
find homes for some of the kittens and adopted all the rest. These are her
paintings of Cali (left) and her son (Hunter) who are among those adopted by
Akiko.
